  • How does it work?

    The Winter Warrior Challenge is designed to start the year off on a happy and healthy note by getting us up and off the couch and into fresh air. For the the months of January and February, run or walk OUTSIDE, and track your mileage through our Winter Warrior Challenge page on Race Roster. You are responsible for knowing the mileage that you’ve run – if you don’t have a GPS running watch, check out free online resources like the Google Pedometer or MapMyRun.

  • How do I log my runs?

    Click the “Submit Mileage“” button on the homepage of the Winter Warrior registration to be brought to the submission form. Note this will go live on January 1st, 2024.​

  • What if I miss a day?

    This isn’t a streak, submit your milage as soon as you remember. To be considered for weekly leaderboards be sure to submit daily.

  • I ran/walked twice in one day; do I submit one total entry or multiple entries?

    The answer is that you can do either. For example, if you run 6 miles in the morning and 3 miles at night, you can enter one 9 mile entry or two individual entries at 6 and 3 miles. Ultimately 9 is what would be measured for that particular day in this example.

  • Where do I get my merchandise?

    When registering, you will be prompted or enticed with some of the nicest gear there is! We will be shipping everything to your address. If you’d like to make a purchase please make sure to add the merchandise to your cart during registration. If you forget your Winter Warrior gear, or see something else you like, merchandise will available at the link below.

  • I’m having trouble logging my miles. What do I do?

    First, make sure you’ve submitted your mileage through the website. If you’re still having trouble, please reach out to the email below – All Winter Warrior Challenge inquiries should be sent to our Yeti team: [email protected]

  • How do I sign up to be on a team?

    When you go to the registration page, you’ll be able to create or join a team simply by entering the name of the team you’d like to join or start.

  • Can I change teams once I’m signed up, or add myself to a team?

    You have the option to switch teams if you’d like, but this must be done before the challenge begins on January 1st. Email inquiries to [email protected]

  • Can I still order some more Winter Warrior merchandise?

    If you forget your Winter Warrior gear, or see something else you like, merchandise will be available at the link below.

  • Is there a Winter Warrior app?

    For ease of use, and the best user experience possible, all things Winter Warrior will be done on a web browser.




You don’t have to be the fastest or run the furthest to win BIG!

This year we’ll have weekly themes regarding photos such as, “Take a photo with your favorite snowman…”, “Create your best snow angel”, etc. If you’re not participating in a snowy region we’ll ask you to get creative with cactus snowmen or sand snow angels.
